Term 3

Last term we celebrated Matariki (Maori New Years) by planting seeds, flying kites and making stuffed kumara.   We had to give our seeds water, soil and lots of sun.

Here is Jenna with the cress that she planted.

Yummy!  These look delicious!!

Term 2

Welcome to Room 8's Blog
Please come and celebrate our learning with us!
We are a Year 0 class who enjoys learning challenges!

Our topic for Term 2 is Maori Myths
Maui and the Sun: Miss S. read the story and we shared our ideas about what happened.  We wrote stories about our favourite part of the story.  Then we created a mosaic sun for our mural.
